WATCH THE TRANSFORMATION OF HISTORIC 58 WEST POWELL BLVD!
For a number of years we have been looking to purchase our own facility. In September of 2013 we put in an offer to purchase the old Mason Building at 58 West Powell in front of Gresham Main City Park. Our offer was accepted. We worked diligently with our bank, architects and the city to come up with a plan to totally renovate this property. Behind the walls and ceilings were large old growth beams and bricks that we purposed to expose to give the building that rustic look. We installed new bathrooms, kids classrooms, new stages, new windows and all the modern equipment to make this building a first class facility. Our lobby hosts our café and bookstore and the building came with a full commercial kitchen. Not only is this building a great church but it is also be a great wedding and banquet facility. You can get married upstairs in the main chapel while your reception is being prepared in the first floor hall and kitchen.
The location is optimal. After Sunday services or an event you can walk to all the great restaurants and shops in Historic downtown Gresham or picnic in the park. You can also ride your bike to church via the Spring Water Trail. We have inside bike racks to keep your bike safe. We thank God for His provision!
